ARtS Narrogin just couldn’t run without its volunteers – from the committee, to those that keep ARtS SPACE and NEXIS open, those who help out at events and those who help out behind the scenes, answering tricky questions about finances, funding or technology, we are truly grateful for your time and effort!

We are always on the look-out for new volunteers to help promote the arts, culture and entertainment in our region. You may be able to commit once a week, once a month, or just do the odd one-off task at an event. Any help is appreciated.

Volunteer jobs include (but are certainly not limited to!) delivering posters around town; maintaining window displays; photographing events; writing promotional copy; organising people, exhibitions or volunteers; hanging exhibitions; designing posters, flyers and tickets; light cleaning; and customer service.

If you are able to help out, please contact ARtS SPACE today!

Our big end of year “thank you” to all ARtS Narrogin volunteers took place in early December. We had a fabulous day out beginning with a delicious morning tea and an exciting update on things to come in 2016. We then piled onto the bus and headed off to Collie for an amazing insight into the new Collie Art Gallery and a wonderful tour of the historic Church of England. What a beautiful piece of history, particularly enhanced by the opportunity to hear our own Mary Martin play the all wooden pipe organ, and a recital on the bells by the church verger. Off then to the winery for a small tipple before the trip home. We even picked up a hitchhiker on the way which added to the fun of the day. All in all a great end to 2015. See all you volunteers in the new year!!
